VCCP Picks up 5 Awards at the BTAA's

Last night we collected an amazing 4 Gold Arrows and 1 Silver Arrow for our comparethemarket.com work. One of the awards was for 'best young team' - collected by our very own Rich and Clem.
Everyone enjoyed the night, celebrating their well-earned recognition for one of the best campaigns of all time. Well done all!
Campaign Recognises Achievements of 2009

We're pretty chuffed today with our numerous features in Campaign's 2009 Annual. As the first agency ever to be in the running for both Agency of the Year and Digital Agency of the Year (hurrah) we're delighted with winning Campaign of the Year ("by a country mile") and Sergei's TV debut taking TV ad of the year.

We are head-over-heels delighted to have been announced Marketing Magazine's Creative Agency of the Year. It's been an incredible twelve months and the title is down to a huge amount of hard work from everyone in building. Perhaps the most exciting thing is that we have yet to reach our potential, and with so much in the pipeline 2010 is going to be good year!

Comparethemarket.com won Brand of the Year at Marketing Society's 50th anniversary dinner. We were up against Marmite and Waitrose, so no mean feat. Well done to everyone involved.

Graham Drew has joined VCCP from our sister Chime agency Resonate. He helped to set up Resonate 6 years ago but has joined VCCP to help us ensure our campaigns get people involved and become a part of popular culture. Dominic Stinton (our Group MD) explains it best, "if we want the potential of our work to be fully realised then we need the skills of PR in house".
New Sexual Health Campaign Gets People Talking

Our first work to help young people make more informed decisions about contraception, look after their sexual health and avoid teenage pregnancies has launched. The first phase of the campaign, Contraception. Worth Talking About will increase young people’s awareness of the different types of contraception and remind them that they won't be protected against STIs unless they use a condom.
Great Night at the Campaign Big Awards

We picked up 3 awards for comparethemarket.com at last night's Campaign Big Awards. This included a gold for best TV & cinema campaign and a gold for best digital campaign. A fantastic effort and all the team (look how well they scrubbed up!) are feeling suitably terrible today.
