In order to raise awareness of MORE TH>N SM>RT WHEELS™ – the black box car insurance that rewards you for safe driving – we created a fun and new online game, SM>RT WHEELS.
This addictive new driving game is a 16-bit unlike any other. Rather than finishing in the quickest possible time, the aim of the game is to get there as safely as possible. Collect coins, avoid collisions, keep to the speed limit and most importantly let the grannies cross the road!

So why is safety at the heart of the fun?
MORE TH>N want to engage parents and young drivers to enjoy the benefits of safe driving as, unlike most other insurance policies, SM>RT WHEELS rewards good driving behaviour through cash back incentives. Our insights found that young people often borrow their parent’s cars and this can incur both high insurance costs, as well as worries about their safety when they first get on the road alone. MORE TH>N want to address both these issues in one by encouraging parents to get the SM>RT WHEELS black box in their car, which helps young drivers stay safe and save.
The campaign was promoted through short video animations that ran across various social channels and it was well worth the practice as those who scored over 1,000 were in with the chance of winning a £1,000 cash prize.
And the results? The game was started 24,000 times with a 55% completion rate and received 3.3k competition entries. MORE TH>N’s social channels drove the most highly engaged traffic with users spending an average of almost four minutes when playing the game.
It looks like slow and steady really does win the race.
