In Europe, there are 100 million unpaid carers, a number that grows bigger every day.

The diagnosis of a chronic condition can throw more than one life into turmoil. Loved ones step up to provide essential care – but their incredible support often goes unseen. 

The ‘Acts of Love’ campaign shines a light on the extraordinary lengths carers go to for the people they love. As well as raising awareness, it drives people to Teva’s Carer Section of the Life Effects website, where they can find content written by other carers.

Hairspray tells the heart-warming story of John, an elderly carer, learning to be a hairdresser so he can help his wife feel like herself again.
