VCCP CX is delighted to have become a Reboot Supporter of Design Club

Design Club are a non-profit who help inspire our next generations through design from grassroots school level. Believing the future needs people-centred, design thinkers to make the world a better place.

They do this by providing design thinking based resources, workshops and projects for children and young people in schools and after school clubs, and now remote. All helping nurture empathy, collaboration and problem-solving skills - for kids from 9-13 years old.

They look for funding every couple of years, and 2020 saw everything slow down as lockdowns and the pandemic were not helpful for more workshop and group related initiative. So in 2021 they are having a bit of a reboot and working to incorporate more ways than ever to help kids learn. And VCCP CX are their first reboot funders. Proudly helping towards making Design Club fit for the future and more impactful.

Watch this space for more, soon hopefully.

Jonny Goodall, CDO, VCCP CX: Getting more young people exposed to the value of design early is brilliant. Helping our next generations think about design beyond traditional form and aesthetic, and focusing on function and purpose is something often left to university courses. The programme of activities they curate should be in the national curriculum! It's so refreshing and exciting what potential talent could come out of this.
