M1NUTE OF SILENCE

A lot has been said and written about the controversy behind the hosting of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. As the championship comes closer to its climax, attention has quickly turned from the host country's widespread abuse of human rights to teams’ performance, results of the matches and expectations for the play-offs.

As the teams celebrate their scores and the winner raises the coveted cup above their heads, it's important not to let the cheers be heard louder than what matters the most: human rights. That’s why together with People in need, an NGO dedicated to human rights and humanitarian relief, we created M1NUTE OF SILENCE, a reminder of what screens all over the world don’t show to the billions of sets of eyes watching.
