VCCP CX, the dedicated customer experience arm of VCCP, has today announced two senior hires, signalling further investment for the dedicated experience strategy, design and engineering arm of the business. VCCP CX welcomes Jakes Lamprecht as Head of Technology, and Ellen Thatcher as New Business Director and both start immediately.
The new roles strengthen the VCCP CX specialism, and will bolster the industry leading and award-winning CX capability which helps clients build, launch and iterate dynamic brand experiences that breakthrough and stand out.
Reporting to Scott Ewings, CEO of VCCP CX, the pair have been tasked with delivering VCCP CX’s ‘dynamic brand experiences’ to the market, to drive further integration across the rest of the VCCP Partnership and enable existing clients to tap into CX. VCCP CX specialises in allowing brands to deliver meaning which impacts their customers, to launch experiences that connect, cut through and constantly adapt.

As Head of Technology for VCCP CX, Lamprecht brings with him more than 20 years of senior technology leadership experience, working across a wide range of clients in travel, automotive, FMCG, luxury brands, financial services, telecommunications and utility. Most recently, Lamprecht held the Director of Technology position at Publicis Sapient where he spearheaded the technology and consulting team on a global automotive OEM client. Previous posts include Director of Technology and Delivery at ORM, and Director of Technology and Operations at AKQA. At VCCP CX, Lamprecht will be responsible for consolidating the foundations of a team of exceptional technologists to unlock new capabilities in order to bring innovative and engaging digital experiences to life for CX clients.
Thatcher joins with more than 10 years experience as a growth and business development specialist working in top tier agency and consulting firms. Prior to joining VCCP CX, Thatcher led UK&I growth at WhatIf Innovation, which is part of Accenture’s global Innovation and Design practice. As New Business Director for VCCP CX, Thatcher will lead the Dynamic Brand Experience proposition, with a unique focus on bringing new brands to the CX portfolio, whilst delivering fresh growth for clients in innovation, insight and brand strategy. She will also be responsible for raising external awareness of the CX specialism, whilst onboarding new clients, and fostering existing relationships.
