Czechitas helps women and children learn about the digital industry.
VCCP CX, alongside their counterparts in VCCP Prague, have been supporting Czechitas, a well-known organisation in the Czech Republic, that helps women and children get to know the digital industry. Specifically, we supported their pilot three-month course in Prague called Digital Academy: Web. The course is intended for women, such as mothers on maternity leave, recent graduates or those who want to change their field of work.
Part of the collaboration was also supposed to include a visit to the office in Prague, which had to be cancelled as a result of government lockdown regulations for Coronavirus, so they created a virtual variant of it. The course participants were able to tour the agency via a Zoom video conference, which also included a presentation of VCCP's values, how we work, what we do and case studies and successes.
The 'COVID-19 era' has moved us towards the online environment, and even more activities are being moved to digital than before. Our collaboration with Czechitas therefore makes all the more sense now. We are very pleased to be able to contribute to the education of women in the digital field, and to help secure equal opportunities for everyone who wants to get their dream job in the IT field - maybe even at VCCP!
