With our integrated, client-first offering, we aim to put an end to the old, standard media solutions, to do away with the idea of media vs. creative and to quash the concept of agency silos. We have set out to remedy the bad habits of the industry by providing our clients with a best in class service that’s as transparent as it is transformative.

VCCP Media helps clients make their whole marketing budget work harder by bringing together all types of media. We believe that creativity could, and should, play a much greater role in media strategy and planning than it currently does – something that we think can only be achieved by being fully integrated with the creative process.
 

What we do

Data

Throughout the campaign process we deliver marketing-leading analytics, attribution and optimisation from our expert data scientists. We have in-house tools, designed by us and bespoke to VCCP Media that allow us to obtain the most granular analysis possible to ensure your campaign performs at its optimum at all times. This is true not only for digital, but also for TV for which we have designed an attribution system, Ensemble, which gives the client greater control over their TV campaigns. Our line-by-line trading affords us considerable flexibility to make changes from those learnings in real-time, meaning your campaign will always be performing at its best.

TV

As well as subscribing to industry standard systems, we have take our analysis to the next level by developing our very own bespoke TV analysis system, Ensemble. The level of detailed analysis we are able to garner using Ensemble allows our clients to get ahead of their competitors, ensuring campaigns are as efficient as possible. Our sophisticated system takes into account the fact that each station, day-of-week and time-of-day behaves differently, so response cannot be distributed by the same methods to each media variable. We have a strong understanding of each station’s typical response and engagement patterns, and also how people consume and react to media across the days and weeks.

All Media

We offer all services relating to media planning and buying.This includes: media strategy, implementation and evaluation, comms idea generation, qualitative media research (we have a trained in-house moderator for focus groups), quantitative research, business plan consulting and specialist media consultancy. We work across numerous verticals, including: TV, radio, outdoor, press, cinema, digital, experiential, sampling, mobile, email, search PPC, online video long-form (TV, VOD), online video short-form, social media, online display and aggregators/affiliates.

Digital

We offer an award winning digital service spanning the full spectrum of online media. This includes everything from SEO, PPC and programmatic, to content, social media and email advertising – plus everything in between. We offer a 360 digital consultancy and can both audit your existing media activity and work alongside current partners to deliver improved performance. Our planning techniques focus on delivering innovative digital solutions via carefully researched and selected channels. We have numerous tools such as Jungo, our custom built, in-house trading desk that ensures our planning is granular enough to identify and reach the right audience in the most effective way. With a fully transparent planning and reporting process, we offer clients comprehensive insight into each step of campaign execution, from preliminary research right through to results and analysis.

Production

Catapult is VCCP Media’s in-house production department headed up by Greg Wocial who has more than 15 years’ experience in the industry. Integrating production in-house ensures we can provide a rapid response to take advantage of short-term media opportunities. We have specialist knowledge in all online and offline areas and, as required, work with trusted partners with whom we have long-standing relationships. Catapult can offer clients everything from resizing press ads, video editing and direct mail, to TV scripts, digital banner production and new creative campaigns.

Marie Oldham Executive Chair, VCCP Media

Marie has worked in media and full service advertising for the past 32 years. Her experience spans categories such as cars, fast food, travel and publishing, in addition to 10 years working at a senior level on brands such as Nationwide Building Society, the BBC, EDF and The National Lottery.

Marie has pioneered the VCCP mode which puts comms planning at the heart of everything we do for our clients.

Peter Bennett Joint CEO, VCCP Media

Peter is a leader with over 25 years experience in the full service communications and media industry.

He has blue chip client experience working at WCRS, Saatchi & Saatchi and Havas Media Group before joining VCCP Media in 2018 as part of the VCCP Media management team leading the integrated "it only works if it all works" proposition across the agency, and connecting the creative and media services within the VCCP Partnership. 

Tara Marus Joint CEO, VCCP Media

Tara started her career in media within an independent full service advertising agency, followed by a decade in WPP media agencies working across a variety of blue chip and challenger clients including The FT, FT.com, Mercedes & Jeep.

Her primary remit is to continually champion creative within media and challenge the norm. She is part of the management team driving the challenger and integrated ethos at VCCP.

Simon Jenkins Joint CSO, VCCP Media

With over 20 years of media agency experience, Simon Jenkins has worked across a number of disciplines, planning, buying and client management, on a  wide range of categories and clients, including; Orange, AXA, TUI, and KIA Motors.

Simon has won IPA Effectiveness Awards and seeks to put audience insights at the heart of all media plans to generate real business change.

Steve Taylor Joint CSO, VCCP Media

Steve has over 25 years of experience consulting in research, digital, creative and full service media agencies. He has worked across sectors as diverse as FMCG and financial services, automotive and entertainment, and across both creative and media accounts, on both a domestic and international basis.

Steve is particularly focussed on digital and data and new approaches to measurement, analytics and effectiveness.
