It hurts to pay for something you already own...

Ofcom recently introduced their 'Text to Switch' policy, making it much easier for people to switch their mobile network if they are out of contract.

In response to that, and as an incentive to switch, O2 wanted to promote the fact that they automatically lower your bill when your phone is paid off - unlike many of their competitors who continue to charge people for their phone even after they've reached the end of their contract.

As part of the campaign, we even made an Overpayment Estimator which sits on the O2 website, so consumers from other networks can see if they have been overpaying in their current contract, and by how much.
