Co-op Tackles The Big Shop Faff
Our new Co-op campaign marks the latest chapter in Co-op’s ‘Pop to Co-op’ creative platform, reminding shoppers that convenience doesn't have to come at the expense of value.
Building on Co-op’s Aldi Price Match initiative, the new work directly challenges the idea that local grocery runs are expensive. Instead of navigating jammed parking lots, endless aisles, and wonky trolleys, the campaign highlights how easy it is to grab everyday essentials at great prices right on your doorstep.
Set to the energetic beat of Kurupt FM’s “Suttin Like That,” the campaign’s hero film contrasts the chaotic marathon of a weekly supermarket trip with the quick, hassle-free alternative of dropping into a neighborhood Co-op.
The integrated campaign runs across the UK until 20th October across TV, radio, out-of-home, social, and display channels.
"Through this new creative we are showing our members and customers that there’s no value compromise to shopping conveniently, and they can enjoy the ease of a small shop experience, alongside the benefit of great prices on the items they want to buy. I’m delighted with the new campaign, which perfectly reflects our tone of voice and our position as the UK’s leading convenience retailer."
Sam Walker, Marketing Director at Co-op
"Why put yourself through wonky trolleys, 97 aisles of tat and a shopping trip that takes all afternoon when you can get Aldi Price Match value by simply popping to Co-op? It’s value, without the big shop faff."
