Beverley Newbury Managing Director

Beverley started her career as a sales representative for Pfizer before moving to work in healthcare advertising. She has worked at a number of agencies including Grey Healthcare, McCann Health and DDB Remedy on numerous UK and international award-winning campaigns.

Beverley joined VCCP Health in 2012, attracted by the entrepreneurial ethos of the agency and the opportunity to work alongside some of the best consumer experts in the industry. Beverley is a member of the Pharmaceutical Society Digital Interest group and is passionate about delivering engaging and highly effective integrated campaigns.

Brett O'Connor Founder & Executive Creative Director

The early part of Brett’s career was spent at consumer agencies such as McCann Ericson, JWT and Euro RSCG now HAVAS. He took the experience he had gained in consumer advertising and applied it to healthcare at Torre Lazur McCann in London, becoming the Creative Director a few years later.

In 2008 he left McCann to become a founder at VCCP Health. During his time in healthcare, his experience has stretched from insect repellent to oncology and from KOLs to consumers in the high street.

Brett has won a wide range of creative awards and been a jury member on the most creatively recognised award shows too, from the Clio’s, Global Awards, Rx Club, and the PM Society Awards.

Sara Candeias Jenkins Head of Scientific Services

With a PhD in Organic Chemistry, Sara was a university lecturer before venturing into the world of healthcare agencies. Having worked in training and dabbled in medical communications, she finally found her calling in advertising.

Sara has worked in a range of therapy areas from oncology to respiratory, anaesthesia and medical devices, and firmly believes that powerful brand communication is always grounded in a deep understanding of the science and the clinical data behind the product.

Frankie Everson Head of Planning

With over 10 years of experience spanning commercial, brand and omnichannel strategy, Frankie has worked across a range of therapy areas, from oral health through to oncology, leading the business on numerous local, regional and global pharma brands at every stage of the life cycle.

Frankie is passionate about delving deep into clients’ challenges, aiming to gain a rich understanding of the business, brand and audience to inspire effective creative work that will truly change behaviour.
