Telefónica set out to launch a new international connectivity brand designed to deliver a seamless, borderless digital experience. The challenge went far beyond communicating a new product: it required building a brand from the ground up — its identity, positioning, and storytelling — while expressing Telefónica’s purpose of making the world more human by connecting people’s lives.

VCCP led the project through an integrated international team connecting its Madrid and London offices, alongside SomeOne — the group’s branding agency — and Girl&Bear, its in-house production studio.
The agency developed the visual identity, strategic positioning, and full communications rollout across all touchpoints, with a special focus on digital channels.
The creative idea revolved around the concept “One World, One Flag”, a claim that symbolises the disappearance of digital borders and celebrates the freedom to move around the world with complete ease. This vision was brought to life through a distinctive visual identity and a user experience that encapsulates eSimFLAG’s essence: unlimited connection, effortless simplicity, and truly global reach.

The launch of eSimFLAG positions Telefónica as a leading player in international connectivity, offering travellers a unique, non-expiring eSIM with unlimited data and automatic activation in over 170 destinations worldwide.
The brand has partnered with major names in the travel sector — including Cabify, Europ Assistance, PANGEA, HBX Group, and Vivofácil — expanding its presence and strengthening its value proposition.
