Everyday there are multiple hit-and-runs to cyclists on Spanish roads.


Genesis, one of the main insurance companies, works to protect people on the road. To this end, the prevention campaign "Maillot 45" is launched, an initiative aimed at all drivers to reduce their speed to 45km/h (recommended speed in the presence of cyclists), using a cyclist's jersey as a mobile signal, detectable by signal recognition cameras. The camera detects the jersey signal as a traffic signal alerting drivers through the car's dashboard.

More than three million cars can detect the jersey, more than five million drivers impacted by the campaign and almost four million cyclists could avoid being run over.
