Told through a voiceover from Buddy\u2019s perspective, narrated by actor <\/span><b>Mark Benton<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the film captures their growing connection across everyday moments: muddy walks, celebrations, quiet cuddles and festive joy. It builds to a heartwarming realisation that, for a dog, the best gift isn\u2019t wrapped, it\u2019s the love of a human who makes them feel safe, seen, and at home.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The campaign is inspired by the insight that true happiness for dogs comes from human commitment &#8211; the simple, everyday gestures that make them feel safe and loved. The campaign shines a light on those moments, while reinforcing <\/span><b>Dogs Trust\u2019s<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> mission to ensure every dog finds the home and human they deserve.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The campaign was developed by <\/span><b>VCCP<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> creatives Jade Sturman and Tori Fannon. The film was directed by award-winning filmmaker <\/span><b>Neil Gorringe<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> through <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wearegirlandbear.com\/\"><b>Girl&amp;Bear Studios<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, who managed all aspects of production and brought the campaign to life.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The campaign spans across TV, cinema, BVOD, online, national out-of-home with localised Dogs Trust centre thank yous, radio, Display, and social media.\u00a0 Media strategy, planning and buying was handled by the7stars.and is live across the UK from today. This includes a collaboration with Picturehouse for their dog-friendly screening across the festive period. Supporting activity across digital was led by <\/span><b>Propellernet <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and the wider PR press campaign is led by <\/span><b>The Ripple Effect<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>        \r\n                \r\n  \t\t\t      <\/div>\r\n      \r\n      <div class=\"col-md-6\">\r\n    \t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The advert also features a dog toy, \u2018Lucy Longlegs\u2019 which is available to purchase from the <\/span><b>Dogs Trust<\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/shop.dogstrust.org.uk\/products-for-dogs\/lucy-longlegs\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">online shop<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for \u00a38, named after a Lurcher at the charity\u2019s West Calder rehoming centre. All profits will help the charity rescue, rehabilitate and rehome more dogs.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Owen Sharp, CEO of Dogs Trust said: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cThis Christmas, we want to recognise the heroes of every rehoming story, the people who give dogs the happy places they deserve.
