These carers represent a huge economic value to society as they save the state \u00a3132 billion in the UK alone<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. In the <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">US, more than half of employed caregivers work full-time (56%)<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Even as they contribute to society around the world, caregivers rarely complain, instead looking after their loved ones with complete devotion.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Teva Pharmaceutical&#8217;s support for caregivers goes beyond this campaign; they have also created initiatives and services to help <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">carers. These include tools such as the <\/span><b>Life Effects<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> website, which shares advice and experiences from other caregivers, as well as guidance through a caregiver handbook and self care tips. In different parts of the world it also offers initiatives specific to those locations such as the Caregiver-Friendly Pharmacy in Canada and a large Facebook community in Israel.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">At the heart of the global campaign sits the hero film directed by award-winning director, Anders Hallberg (Great Guns), which follows a woman as she navigates her day. She faces a number of overwhelming tasks including taking her father to the doctors and supporting him throughout the day, looking after her children, and managing a busy salon. It takes people on an emotional rollercoaster, from visceral exhaustion through to beautiful, light-hearted moments of joy, ending with a poignant reminder that \u2018love doesn\u2019t take a break\u2019. The film is a raw and relatable depiction of life as a caregiver that evokes emotion and empathy.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>        \r\n                \r\n  \t\t\t      <\/div>\r\n      \r\n      <div class=\"col-md-6\">\r\n    \t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The voiceover is provided by actor John Rhys-Davies, famous for his roles in The Lord of the Rings trilogy and Indiana Jones franchise, who strikes a raw and tender chord drawn from the actor\u2019s own experience of caring for his wife until her death from Alzheimer\u2019s disease in 2010.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Galit Sasson, Director, Global Corporate brand at Teva Pharmaceuticals said<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">: <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cCaregivers provide a vital role, constantly caring for loved ones whilst balancing their everyday life and responsibilities. Lions Health was launched in 2014 to celebrate life-changing creativity in the wellness and pharmaceutical sectors and in recognition of the work coming out of this sector that navigates its own unique challenges in getting produced.\\u00a0\\u003c\\\/span\\u003e\\u003c\\\/p\\u003e\\n\\u003cp\\u003e\\u003cspan style=\\u0022font-weight: 400\\u0022\\u003eHowever, making work that meets the criteria of the Lions Health judges is no mean feat. We asked Noa more about how they got to the end result. She explained that her team was tasked with raising awareness of the challenges that carers face every day. And to do so in a way that spoke to caregivers themselves and the general public. They had to find the right story to tell to do this and a lot of the hard work went into preparing before the creative process even began, talking to caregivers and crafting the right brief for their business objective.\\u003c\\\/span\\u003e\\u003ci\\u003e\\u003cspan style=\\u0022font-weight: 400\\u0022\\u003e \\u201cIt was not a short process\\u201d \\u003c\\\/span\\u003e\\u003c\\\/i\\u003e\\u003cspan style=\\u0022font-weight: 400\\u0022\\u003eNoa laughed.\\u003c\\\/span\\u003e\\u003ci\\u003e\\u003cspan style=\\u0022font-weight: 400\\u0022\\u003e \\u201cWe relied on a lot of research. First quantitative research, to get an idea of the scale of our audience \\u2013\\u00a0which was vast. Then we moved on to qualitative, where we really began to understand the personal challenges and emotions that were at play.
