On International Women’s Day, O2 supports the Red Roses in holding their hands up high to celebrate their sporting achievements. The campaign builds upon this year\u2019s International Women\u2019s Day theme of \u2018choose to challenge\u2019 which encourages people to raise their hand to show commitment to calling out inequality.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our campaign features three of the Red Roses; Jess Breach, 15 caps, Ellie Kildunne, 11 caps and Lagi Tuima, 6 Caps, hold up their hands and choose to challenge what it means to be a professional female rugby player. Each of their hands had a personal quote to challenge the stereotypes that still exist in the Women’s game today.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The campaign aims to encourage other players and supporters of the game to show solidarity with the Red Roses, while building on the commitment O2 has pledged to equally fund the men’s and women’s game. O2 recognises the importance of International Women’s Day in celebrating the amazing success of Women in Rugby.\u00a0<\/p>\n
