Delivering a new user experience and interface design to drive up sales conversion, volume and value.<\/h5>\n  <\/div>\n<\/section><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"lazyblock-two-column-text-quote-image-74FzB wp-block-lazyblock-two-column-text-quote-image\"><section class=\"fullwidth fullwidth--overflow \" data-aos=\"fade-up\">\r\n  <div class=\"container container--spaced-lg\">\r\n    \r\n    <div class=\"row\">\r\n      \r\n      <div class=\"col-md-6\">\r\n                \r\n                <blockquote class=\"blockquote blockquote--md-right\">\r\n          How could we allow for more pizzas, to be ordered more, and more often?                   <\/blockquote>\r\n                \r\n  \t\t\t      <\/div>\r\n      \r\n      <div class=\"col-md-6\">\r\n    \t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Domino\u2019s are the UK\u2019s biggest pizza takeaway business, operating 1000+ stores and selling over 1 million pizza a week through their website and app.<\/span><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A key component of the challenge was the need to develop a platform with scale and flexibility to enable each franchise and local store to manage their own product menu, availability and price promotions whilst maintaining a consistent, high quality experience.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The goal we defined for Domino\u2019s eCommerce was to establish an experience that made ordering ridiculously easy. <\/span><\/p>  \t\t<\/div>\r\n  \t\t\r\n    <\/div>\r\n    \r\n  <\/div>\r\n<\/section><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"lazyblock-two-column-text-offset-image-button-1XN6Rd wp-block-lazyblock-two-column-text-offset-image-button\"><section class=\"fullwidth fullwidth--overflow\" data-aos=\"fade-up\">\n  <div class=\"container container--spaced-lg\">\n\n    <div class=\"row align-items-center\">\n      <div class=\"col-md-7 \">\n      \n        <div class=\"embed-responsive embed-responsive-1by1 img-inline  img-offset-left-md \">\n          <picture class=\"embed-responsive-item\">\n            <source data-srcset=\"https:\/\/www.vccp.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/design_sprint_cropped-optimised.jpg 768w\">\n                        <img data-src=\"https:\/\/www.vccp.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/design_sprint_cropped-optimised.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"lazyload img-fluid img-1-1\">\n          <\/picture>\n        <\/div>\n        \n      <\/div>\n\n      <div class=\"col-md-5\">\n        <div class=\"content\">\n                    \n          <div class=\"p\">\n            <p>We sat down (and ate) with customers and Domino\u2019s staff, conducted extensive audits and user testing on the existing platforms &amp; competitors, and ran a series of design sprints.<\/p>\n<p>The output of these concepts were a number of low and high fidelity prototypes that we were able to test with prospective customers both on location and remotely.<\/p>          <\/div>\n          \n                  <\/div>\n      <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n\n  <\/div>\n<\/section><\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container\"><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\"><div class=\"lazyblock-text-full-width-ZEgfv6 wp-block-lazyblock-text-full-width\"><section class=\"fullwidth text-center\" data-aos=\"fade-up\">\n  <div class=\"container\">\n    \n    \n    <h5 style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">By applying this human-oriented approach, we were then able to convert our concepts into a series of design sprints that we ran in collaboration with Domino\u2019s stakeholders. The output? An all encompassing vision for Domino\u2019s eCommerce experience.\u00a0<\/span><\/h5>\n  <\/div>\n<\/section><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"lazyblock-image-full-width-ZwmWmk wp-block-lazyblock-image-full-width\"><section class=\"fullwidth fullwidth--img\">\n    <img data-src=\"https:\/\/www.vccp.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Dominos_group_lined-2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"lazyload img-fluid\">\n\n<\/section><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"lazyblock-text-full-width-Z4DK5X wp-block-lazyblock-text-full-width\"><section class=\"fullwidth text-center\" data-aos=\"fade-up\">\n  <div class=\"container\">\n    \n    \n    <h5>\u2018Easy Ordering for Everyone\u201d From the Official Food of Everything considered all aspects of the eCommerce experience, evolving core journeys for new and returning customers. A UI toolkit underpinned by functionality that privileged the user\u2019s needs and celebrated the design language of Domino\u2019s, and micro-interactions and motion UI that enhanced the brand\u2019s unique tone of voice.<\/h5>\n  <\/div>\n<\/section><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"lazyblock-video-ZWKIG wp-block-lazyblock-video\"><section class=\"fullwidth\">\r\n  <div class=\"container\">\r\n    <div class=\"embed-responsive embed-responsive-16by9 \" data-component=\"video\">\r\n      <iframe data-src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/505785528?title=0&amp;byline=0&amp;portrait=0&amp;color=6cbef1&amp;playsinline=0\" class=\"lazyload\" allowfullscreen title=\"\"><\/iframe>          <\/div>\r\n  <\/div>\r\n<\/section><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"lazyblock-two-column-side-by-side-text-inline-image-button-mbYPD wp-block-lazyblock-two-column-side-by-side-text-inline-image-button\"><section class=\"fullwidth fullwidth--overflow\" data-aos=\"fade-up\">\n  <div class=\"container container--spaced-lg\">\n\n    <div class=\"row\">\n            <div class=\"col-md-6\">\n\n        <div class=\"text-image-item\">\n        \n                    \n          <div class=\"content\">\n                        \n                        <div class=\"p\">\n              <p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">By working closely with the Domino&#8217;s stakeholders at all stages of the process, the freshly designed interface and new user journeys were delivered as a UI toolkit and documentation for any future Domino&#8217;s development partners to implement.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>All of this was complemented by a hard-working data-driven CRM programme, where we encourage return visits and sign up, using data constructively to create personalised experiences for faster re-ordering of favourites and new recommendations.
