VCCP Prague To Open In March

21st December 2009

VCCP have just signed an agreement with O2 in Prague to become their local agency in the Czech Republic from 2010. VCCP Prague will open on the 1st March 2010. O2 in the Czech Republic is one of the biggest companies and biggest advertisers in the country. Approximately 90% of Czech households have at least one O2 product in their home. In terms of our international stretch this is a fantastic win for us as an agency. Gratulálok!

We're pretty chuffed today with our numerous features in Campaign's 2009 Annual. As the first agency ever to be in the running for both Agency of the Year and Digital Agency of the Year (hurrah) we're delighted with winning Campaign of the Year ("by a country mile") and Sergei's TV debut taking TV ad of the year.

Marketing's Agency of The Year

We are head-over-heels delighted to have been announced Marketing Magazine's Creative Agency of the Year. It's been an incredible twelve months and the title is down to a huge amount of hard work from everyone in building. Perhaps the most exciting thing is that we have yet to reach our potential, and with so much in the pipeline 2010 is going to be good year!

The BBC are looking for the word which will sum up the last decade and one of their suggestions is "simples". Seems a fair call.

Michael Edge Joins VCCP

7th December 2009

We're very excited that Michael Edge has joined VCCP today. He comes from AKQA to head up our Digital team now Buster is off around the world. Michael (already dubbed 'The Edge') is a real catch for us and has worked on some extremely famous and highly-awarded campaigns for the likes of Xbox and EA Games. He may not possess the silk lined flared cuff suits of his predecessor but he's a pretty smooth operator and we're delighted to have him here.

Our first work to help young people make more informed decisions about contraception, look after their sexual health and avoid teenage pregnancies has launched. The first phase of the campaign, Contraception. Worth Talking About will increase young people’s awareness of the different types of contraception and remind them that they won't be protected against STIs unless they use a condom.
